We recently had the privilege to help provide the victims of Hurricane Helene with food, clothing, and needed supplies. Batavia and the surrounding areas answered and the response was nothing less than amazing. We wish to thank all involved for all of the kind donations. Part of the items were picked up and headed for North Carolina within the same week. The rest of the items were delivered to a church who then transferred the balance of collected items to North Carolina. None of this would have been possible without the support of our community.
Loading them up & shipping them out
Pictures below show our annual backpack drive. We gather supplies to fill backpacks with food, school supplies, personal hygiene items, toys, clothing, a Bible, along with the Christmas story. We pray these packs will get to the proper child and maybe make Christmas a bit brighter.
